Special Olympics

Every Thursday since July 2018, Wynnum Table Tennis has the pleasure of working with these young sporting talents. In collaboration with Redlands Special Olympics Coordinator Hugh Mackey, Dennis Rylatt has been working on lifting the sport's role in and amongst the Intellectual Disabled Community. 

In the first image, from the left to right, we have Dennis Rylatt, Kessylan, Chris, Special Olympics Coordinator Hugh Mackey, Adam, and Caretaker Trevor.

Caslan deserves a special mention. When he first arrived at Wynnum Table Tennis, he could not hit 2 balls in a row. He's improved a lot since, and nowadays can hit up to 10. What a legend.
