David had been a club member since 1985, and received a life membership in 2019, after serving on the committee for 8 years, looking after the equipment for many years and becoming interim President in 2010.
Teacher by profession, David particularly enjoyed coaching beginner players and sharing his love for the game with them.
Very handy player himself, David represented the club in many occasions, and had a 56% win record over more than 400 A-grade games.
Family and friends are welcome to attend his funeral that will take place on Thursday 12th September 2024 at 3:30pm at the Great Southern Memorial Park, 1774 Mount Cotton Rd, Carbrook.
