Henry participated in a wide range of club activities including A grade fixtures, tournaments and in later years, was an active member of the club veterans' weekly events. He is still listed as number 50 on the club's all-time statistics having played 2982 matches.

Henry was a fierce defensive player almost always retrieving opponents' shots from the back of the court. He was always known as a good sport who played the game to the best of his abilities whilst always treating fellow club members with respect.
